Week Three is in the books! Here are the scores and relevant information for each of the local contests.

EAST JACKSON 28, BANKS COUNTY 14

The Leopards drop their first game of the season in a 28-14 final against East Jackson.

#6 COMMERCE 34, ELBERT COUNTY 7

Call it a revenge tour, as the #6-ranked Tigers are out for blood. Commerce rolled up a 34-7 win at The Granite Bowl. The offense generated 28 points by the half, and cruised from there.

#6 RABUN COUNTY 35, DAWSON COUNTY 21

The Wildcats scored 21 in the second half to pull away from Dawson in a 35-21 final. Rabun County scored first on a JK Fruster rushing TD. He’d add two more, including the second score and the last for the Cats. In between, Brody Sorensen threw two TD passes to Gunnar Weaver, and Sorensen rushed for another. Cooper Kowalsky hit Hayden Cannon for the game-winner in the third, and Ashton Justus added a rushing TD for Rabun County, who is now 2-0.

FRANKLIN COUNTY 30, MADISON COUNTY 14

The Lions remain unbeaten with a convincing 30-14 win over Madison County. Both the offense and defense continue to fire on all cylinders.

#7 MONROE AREA 49, HABERSHAM CENTRAL 17

The Raiders made it interesting in the first half, scoring a rushing TD to stay within striking distance. But the Purple Hurricanes owned the game from there, winning 49-17 to push Hab Central to 1-2 overall.

#2 PEACH COUNTY 30, #4 JEFFERSON 23

Jefferson’s tough slate continues with a 30-23 loss at #2 Peach County. The Dragons fought back the entire game. They trailed 14-0 in the second before Boone Horn connected with Austen Kitchings for a score. The duo did it again in the third to pull within 23-13. Max Brown rushed one in from 57 yards out later and Victor Rodriguez capped the scoring with a 21-yd field goal.

#10 LUMPKIN COUNTY 27, WHITE COUNTY 0

The Indians remain unbeaten, while handing White County its first loss in a 27-0 final in Dahlonega. Weston Veater had a TD run in the first, and Kolson Howell’s 25-yd TD run in the second broke it open. Wylder Flakes hit a 33-yd field goal in the third and added a 42-yd FG in the fourth for the 20-0 lead. Veater added a 1-yd TD to seal the win.

STEPHENS COUNTY 38, UNION COUNTY 0

The Indians and Panthers were both winless in two tries, so someone was walking away with their first win. It was Stephens County, who rolled 38-0 in their home opener. Branson Stowe started the TD parade with a rushing TD of 31 yards, and then hit Kaiden Harbin on a 70-yd TD pass later. Josiah Worsley punched in a 32-yd field goal, Stowe then hit Harbin on a 51-yd TD, and Dallas Hague punched in a TD run from seven yards out for a 31-0 halftime lead. Stowe and Harbin again connected on a 67-yd TD in the third quarter to cap the night for the Indians. Seth Fulbright, Duke Collins, and Cashus Roebuck each had interceptions.

BETHLEHEM CHRISTIAN 35, TOWNS COUNTY 0

The Indians dropped a 35-0 contest against Bethlehem Christian. Towns was held to under 100 total yards of offense.
