Veteran Olivia Henderson (Tallulah Falls) and rookie Reid Murphy (White County) were named the first XC Runners of the Week for the 2026 season.
OLIVIA HENDERSON – TALLULAH FALLS
TFS senior Olivia Henderson is off and running. In the opening meet (NEGA Championships), she posted a 3rd-place finish with a 21:50 time in the ‘Small School’ division, helping Tallulah to a team Runner-Up finish. This is her 7th career BLITZ award.
REID MURPHY – WHITE COUNTY
A new name to commit to memory – Reid Murphy. If his first varsity meet was any indicator, and we believe it was – he’s in for a heck of a career. The White County freshman dazzled with a 5th-place run in the ‘Large School’ division of the NEGA Championships, coming in with a blistering time of 18:07.
