Jay Feltus (Habersham Central) and Kamden Kendrick (Union County) were named the first 2026 Football Player of the Week award winners.

JAY FELTUS – HABERSHAM CENTRAL

Jay Feltus showed out in the opening scrimmage. The senior wideout produced a solid stat line: six catches for 112 yards and two touchdowns. This is the second career POW award for Feltus.

KAMDEN KENDRICK – UNION COUNTY

Junior signal-caller Kamden Kendrick had a great showing in the season-opening scrimmage for Union County. In earning his second career POW award, Kendrick passed for about 275 yards and rushed for about 50, totaling four TDs (three passing, one rushing).
