Jefferson won its first region title since 2018 last year, and won 25 games for the first time since 2019. This is annually a team that makes an incredibly-deep run at state, and once again will aim for hoisting the biggest trophy of them all.

“We have extremely high expectations for this season,” states Bailey. “We are expecting to repeat at Region Champions and are looking forward to another deep playoff run. Our players have been working very hard and this group has the talent to make a lot of noise again this year. The ceiling is very high for this group. We are hoping for a special year!”

Strengths: “We are returning our entire pitching staff from last year (Braelynn Vandiver, KristiAna Truelove, & Lexi Bishop) and adding Finely Jordan and Mya Ogletree,” says Bailey. “Pitching and defense will be a great strength for our team again this year. However, our offensive lineup is extremely deep with a lot of power from top to bottom.”
