Habersham Central volleyball coach Lindsay Herrin and Rabun County tennis coach Bryan Getty have been added to the BLITZ Legendary Coaches list. Herrin is the first volleyball coach to etch her name on the list, and Getty becomes the third tennis coach.

LINDSAY HERRIN

Lindsay Herrin took over the Habersham Central volleyball program in 2011, and immediately began to take it to the next level. From 2011-2025, she accumulated 344 wins against 183 losses in one of the highest classifications in the state. She has a pair of Region Runner-Up finishes, a #1 state ranking (including 5 different seasons being state ranked), 7 20-win seasons, a 30-5 ’19 season, and 7 state playoff appearances (including a Sweet 16 in ’16 and ‘25, and Elite 8 run in ‘24). 

BRYAN GETTY

Bryan Getty has coached HS tennis since 2005 and has been a head coach since 2015. His girls and boys have 222 victories in total heading into 2027. That includes six region titles (boys in 2015, 2024, 2026; girls in 2015, 2016, 2022) and 21 state playoff appearances. His teams have punched 16 Sweet 16 tickets, six times going to the Elite 8 and three times to the Final 4. In 2026, the Rabun boys made the title match and came in State Runner-Up! He’s been named Region Coach of the Year six times (’15, ‘26 for boys and girls, ’16 and ‘22 for girls).
