WILL BOWEN

Will Bowen had a remarkable career for Commerce. Even as a freshman, he was the low medalist for the program. He had dozens of 1st-place finishes, and was the State Runner-Up in 2025 as a junior, winning the Area Championship that season while averaging 73 in 18-hole events. He was the Area Runner-Up and 31st at state as a sophomore in 2024. In his senior year, he was 8th at area and 15th at state. (589 votes)

SAMANTHA DEWENDT

Dawson County girls golf has been blessed with some rich talent over the past couple of decades. One such golfer is Samantha Dewendt. She was a 2-time top-5 state finisher, coming third and fifth among her best performances. She earned dozens of low medalist honors through her career, and won an Area Championship individually and was twice in the top-3. Dewendt, who was the BLITZ Golfer of the Year in 2023 and 2024, went on to compete at Columbus State University. (363 votes)

AK Patton was a consistent leader for Jefferson. The Lady Dragon golfer posted three top-10 finishes at state, as high as seventh one year. She twice was a top-5 finisher at the Area Championships as well. (2 votes – Producer’s Pass)
