

WILL GIPSON

Will Gipson became one of the state’s top overall runners. The distance star for Franklin County was the 2025 State Champion, and finished three times inside the top-5 during his career in cross country. His PR was 16:01.94, and Gipson was named BLITZ Runner of the Year in 2025. The multiple state champ when you factor in track and field as well takes his talents to Emmanuel University. HAYDEN HAND

Hayden Hand was as consistent as any runner in Dawson County history. She came in the top-10 at state every single year, including finishing 4th in her final run in 2025. She had a knack for saving her best for last, and was a top-10 finisher at region every season as well. Her PR was 19:23.60. (74,170 votes – TOP VOTE for BLITZ ’26 HOF)


LOLA HUNTER

Lola Hunter twice finished in the top-5 at the XC State Championships, with a 3rd-place finish being her best. All four years she was top-10. She won back-to-back region titles in 2024 and 2025, and had a PR of 19:16.10 for Union County. Hunter, as a distance star, also excelled in track and field. (227 votes)


ANSLEY MOORE

One of the best all-time in the BLITZ area in distance, Ansley Moore was excellent even as a freshman at Athens Christian. She won the region title three times in a row from 2023-25, spending her last two years at Banks County. Moore, who also was an excellent point guard and played in a state title game as a junior, three times was top-10 at state in XC, including winning the championship in her 2025 senior season. Her PR was 19:05.97. Moore went to the next level at Piedmont University. (361 votes)
