The BLITZ Track & Field Athlete of the Week is Joanna Miller (Tallulah Falls).

JOANNA MILLER – TALLULAH FALLS

Joanna Miller was absolutely locked in for the GIAA State Championship. She set two school records (breaking her own marks) while winning the 100 (12.33) and 200 (25.44). She was also the State RU in the 400 (59.89), 5th in the Long Jump (15-8.5), and was part of a 4th-place 4×400 Relay (4:20.11). This is her fifth career BLITZ award.

ELI COOLING – FRANKLIN COUNTY

Eli Cooling has made history this season personally, and now as a team he’s led those efforts. Franklin County won its first-ever playoff game, and the senior captain and midfielder posted a hat trick with three goals to lead those efforts. This is his third POW award.
