MASON PIERSON – TOWNS COUNTY

Mason Pierson had a mammoth first round for Towns County, which won its series in a 3-game thriller. The senior left fielder/second baseman had a stat line that included hitting .500 (seven hits) with six RBI, four runs, two doubles, and a triple. This is his first POW award.

GATLIN GREEN – BANKS COUNTY

PERFECT! That’s the word to describe Gatlin Green for the Leopards last week in the playoff opening series. The Banks County sophomore threw a perfect game, striking out four. Any way you slice it, that’s impressive to say the least. It’s his first POW award.

ZEKE DOTSON – DAWSON COUNTY

The freshman phenom continues his incredible season. Dawson County’s Zeke Dotson struck out 13 batters while taking the win with a spotless 0.00 ERA. He also hit .400 (two hits) with two RBI and two runs. This is his second POW award.
