CLASS 5A

#2 Habersham Central 2, #3 Greenbrier 1

The Raiders won the opener, 5-1 before dropping a tough game two by a 3-0 final. That set up a winner-take-all, which came on Saturday. In it, the Raiders won on a walkoff in the 9th inning of a 2-1 game to reach the Sweet 16 for a third straight season.

CLASS 3A

#5 Jefferson 2, #28 Richmond Academy 0

The Dragons advance with a sweep. The wins were dominant – 11-0 and 19-3.

#12 Harlem 2, #21 White County 0

The Warriors dropped both games, with a 7-2 and 5-2 final, ending White County’s season.

#26 Dawson County 2, #7 Luella 0

The Tigers won 10-0 and 9-0 in a total annihilation of Luella. Dawson County advances to the Sweet 16 with the sweep.

CLASS 2A

#19 Franklin County 2, #14 Union County 1

The Panthers and Lions split the first day, with Union winning 5-4 in the first game and Franklin evening the series with a 5-2 win. That sets up a winner-take-all on Saturday. The Lions won 18-2 to blast past Union and get back into the second round.

#15 Stephens County 2, #18 Ringgold 0

The Indians roll on with wins of 6-3 and 3-2 over Ringgold, getting back to the Sweet 16.

CLASS 1A DI

#13 Banks County 2, #20 Washington County 0

Banks County rolls into the Sweet 16 with a sweep of Washington County. The Leopards won 16-6 in the first game, then 13-0 in the second to clinch.

#10 Model 2, #23 Rabun County 0

Rabun County’s season ends with a loss to Model, who won the series with wins of 13-2 and 16-3.

#7 Vidalia 2, #26 Commerce 0
Vidalia won the first game 6-3, then took the finale 10-2 to sweep the first round over Commerce.

CLASS 1A DII

#2 Towns County 2, #3 Seminole County 1
The Indians lost 9-3 in the first game, then rebounded with a 17-4 equalizing game two. In the game three do-or-die, Towns won 10-4 to advance.
