TUCKER ENGERT – TOWNS COUNTY



Towns County’s Tucker Engert shined in the Indians’ second win of the season. The sophomore wideout hauled in 10 balls for 153 yards and a TD. This is his third career POW award. Engert is the 400th sophomore all-time to claim POW honors.

REID GILES – RABUN COUNTY


Reid Giles’ performance is one of the best of all-time for Rabun County, and that’s saying a TON when you consider all the greats to play for the Wildcats. In Rabun’s 49-42 win at Dalton, Giles had the winning TD run in the last minute, capping off a game that saw him go for 424 total yards of offense by himself. He had 111 rush yards and 3 TD, 204 receiving yards on seven catches, had a 99-yard kickoff return for a TD, and had 10 punt return yards. He even found time for five tackles on defense. The reigning BLITZ POY takes his fourth career POW award.

NOLAN MATTHEWS – LUMPKIN COUNTY

Nolan Matthews takes his third career POW award, and this one might be his best. The senior star running back for Lumpkin County had 158 rushing yards and 4 TD, adding 96 receiving yards and another TD for a 5-TD game in Lumpkin’s big win in Week Four.
