Banks County vastly improved last season by going 5-5 after a 2-win season in 2021. Fifth-year head coach Jay Reid got solid seasons from star Andrew Shockley, Aaron Scott, Robert Walker, and Cam Cooper. Reid is now 15-26 going into year five, and must replace the massive production that Shockley brought to the table. He rushed for 1,261 yards and 15 TD, adding 393 receiving yards and another 4 scores, and had a kickoff return for a TD and a blocked kick for a TD.

However, Scott came up with 626 yards receiving and 305 rushing with a total of 9 TDs. He poised to get even more reps this coming season. Walker (67 TKL, 11 TFL, 3 Sacks) and Cooper (47 TKL, 9 TFL) will be anchors on the defensive side. Kolby Watson got some big experience and has the perfect build for a QB if he can take the natural steps of progression.
