Jefferson doubles combo wins last finalist vote for POY consideration

6,946 votes poured in overall for the Boys Tennis Last Finalist Fan Vote. 3,517 were in favor of Jefferson’s Nick Yath & Roman Smith. They become the 7th and last finalist to be up for Boys Tennis Player of the Year. Those finalists are: TJ Cox (Tallulah Falls), Tanner Davis (Tallulah Falls), Ethan Duke (Jefferson), Will & Jack McKinney (Lumpkin County), Jonathan Orozco (Commerce), Lije Smith (Habersham Central), and Nick Yath & Roman Smith (Jefferson).

NEXT: Our BLITZ internal voting panel, made up of media members and some former coaches, players, and GHSA officials will vote Heisman-style for the winner. *NOT A PUBLIC VOTE*
