Bond, Higgins earn Golfer of the Week awards
The BLITZ Golfers of the Week, named by BLITZ, are Hunter Bond (Banks County) and Mallory Higgins (Tallulah Falls).
HUNTER BOND – BANKS COUNTY
Bond…Hunter Bond. The Banks County junior carded a 77 in the Area Tournament, marking a personal best for him on the season. That was good for 2nd place individually, and lifted the Leopards to an Area Championship. This is Bond’s first POW award.

MALLORY HIGGINS – TALLULAH FALLS
Mallory Higgins has been consistent all season. The Tallulah Falls sophomore shot an 86 (personal best) at Double Oaks in Commerce in the Area Tournament. That was good for 2nd place individually and paced the Lady Indians to a Runner-Up finish, qualifying them for state for the 7th time in the last 8 years. This is Higgins’ first POW award.
