KYLER MAYO – WHITE COUNTY

Kyler Mayo polished off his prep career with a solid last week. The Warriors’ senior outfielder hit .357 (5-for-14), tallying 2 RBI, a run, 2 doubles, and registering a .400 OBP and .500 SLG percentage. This is Mayo’s second POW award.

JULIAN HORNER – DAWSON COUNTY

Dawson County’s Julian Horner had a monster 3-game stretch for the state playoff bound Tigers. Horner hit .462, going 6-for-13 at the dish. That included blasting 3 homeruns and driving in 6 runs, scoring 7 himself while adding 2 doubles and 2 walks as well as a hit by pitch. That came out to an insane .563 OBP and 1.308 SLG percentage. This is Horner’s second career POW award.

TY TRUELOVE – RABUN COUNTY

Freshman Ty Truelove is going to be a next level QB (we’re talking DI)! But he’s also proven to be a solid baseball player. The second baseman hit .500 last week for the Wildcats, gathering 2 RBI and a ridiculous 7 runs scored. He had a triple as part of that 3-game performance and had a 1.315 OPS. This is Truelove’s first POW award.
