The BLITZ Fan Vote for Girls Soccer Player of the Week was Lara Turner (Union County) after taking 857 of the 2,191 total votes. BLITZ then named Addie Higbie (Tallulah Falls) as Co-POW.

Union County’s Lara Turner picked a big game to have a standout performance. The junior forward notched a hat trick with a 3-goal effort in the Lady Panthers’ round one win. This is Turner’s second career POW award.

ADDIE HIGBIE – TALLULAH FALLS
Addie Higbie, in what would be her final home match, posted a pair of goals to add to her single-season and career scoring records. Both came in a monumental round one win for the Lady Indians, as the Tallulah Falls senior forward had the opening goal and the game-winner in a 3-2 victory. This is Higbie’s second POW award this season and third of her career.
