CLASS 5A

#1 Midtown 2, #2 Jefferson 1

The Lady Dragons dropped a tough 2-1 final at Midtown to close their season in the Sweet 16.

CLASS 3A

#1 Bremen 5, #2 Lumpkin County 1

The Lady Indians’ season came to a halt in the Sweet 16 loss at 1-seeded Bremen by way of a 5-1 final.

#3 White County 7, #1 Sandy Creek 2

The Lady Warriors continued to play the role of road warriors with a 7-2 victory over 1-seeded Sandy Creek. After scoring 3 straight to open the game, White County punched in 4 more to cruise to the finish and get back to the Elite 8.

CLASS 2A

#1 Mt. Paran 6, #3 Union County 1

The Lady Panthers dropped a 6-1 final at Mt. Paran to close their season in the Sweet 16.

CLASS 1A DI

#1 Commerce 3, #3 Atlanta International 2

This one didn’t come easy. The Lady Tigers grabbed a 3-2 win over Atlanta International to secure an Elite 8 trip. It was tied at 1-1 after the first half, and Commerce scratched across a pair in the second half, including the game-winner. Ivy Tolbert had 2 goals and an assist, while Chloe Diaz had a goal and Sarah English an assist.

#1 Social Circle 5, #2 Tallulah Falls 2

The Lady Indians’ season came to a close in a 5-2 final at the defending state champions, Social Circle. Addie Higbie had a goal and assist in her final match, while Stasa Beratovic had the other goal, and Gemma Farris added an assist.

CLASS 1A DII

#3 Towns County 7, #2 Portal 3

Towns County worked a solid 7-3 win in the second round to advance to yet another Elite 8 appearance!
