Towns County is ranked #7 in the state, and the Indians have gotten a huge boost from junior Kade McConnell. The 1B/P batted .462 last week across 4 games. He went 6-for-13, tallying 7 RBI, 3 runs, 2 doubles, and a triple to go with 3 walks. This is McConnell’s first POW award.

DAKOTA BENNETT – LUMPKIN COUNTY

Talk about one of the best game’s you’ll see. Junior Dakota Bennett showed out last week for the Indians, particularly in a game against Flowery Branch. #10-ranked Lumpkin County saw its 1B/C bat .700 for the week, going 7-for-10. Against FB, he hit for the cycle, with his homerun a Grand Slam! All told, he hit .700 with 1 HR, 8 RBI, 1 2B, and 2 3B. This is Bennett’s first POW award.

COY ARGO – COMMERCE

Coy Argo blasted a walkoff Grand Slam in a win for the Commerce Tigers last week. In 2 games, the junior outfielder hit .571, going 4-for-7, with the homer, 5 RBI, and a .625 OBP. This is Argo’s first POW award.
