Trio takes Girls Soccer POW honors


The BLITZ Fan Vote for Girls Soccer Player of the Week was MacKenzie Segars (Stephens County) after taking 9,032 of the 22,773 total votes. BLITZ then named both Addie Higbie (Tallulah Falls) and Andrea Limehouse (Lumpkin County) as Co-POW.

ADDIE HIGBIE – TALLULAH FALLS

Senior Addie Higbie is off to a fantastic start to the season with already a pair of hat tricks to her credit. Last week she made history in a game where she posted 4 goals, including the one that made her the school’s all-time leading goal scorer. She totaled 8 goals and an assist in 2 matches for the #6-ranked Lady Indians. This is Higbie’s second career POW award.
