The BLITZ Fan Vote for Boys Basketball Player of the Week was Cooper Welch (Rabun County) after taking 10,199 of the 19,588 total votes. BLITZ then named Luke Dale (Banks County) as Co-POW.

Cooper Welch had a stellar game for the Wildcats last week. The junior guard landed 6 3-pointers as part of a 19-point effort, and completed a double-double with 10 rebounds. He added 4 assists, and also had a block and a steal. This is Welch’s second POW award.
