Seniors Grier, Blalock earn POW honors
The BLITZ Fan Vote for Girls Basketball Player of the Week was Kamryn Grier (Banks County) after taking 18,642 of the 45,022 total votes. BLITZ then named Trea Blalock (Rabun County) as Co-POW.

Banks County’s Kamryn Grier continues her dominant season. The senior forward averaged 20 points, 10 boards, 3.5 steals, and 3.5 blocks last week for the #2-ranked Lady Leopards across 2 games. This is Grier’s second POW award this season and 4th of her career.

Guard Trea Blalock is an unsung hero for the Lady Wildcats, who are riding high at #2 in the state. The senior last week averaged 12 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals per game for Rabun County, and shot 40% from downtown. This is Blalock’s first POW award.
