Yeh’s 41-point performance surges White County past Lumpkin [VIDEO]

Jadon Yeh simply couldn’t be stopped on Tuesday evening against Lumpkin County. The #10-ranked Warriors (12-7; 6-0 in 7-AAA) blasted the Indians 76-45 in Cleveland to remain perfect within region play. Yeh had a monster first half of 27 points that included 5 3-pointers, and finished with 41 points and 7 triples.

White County went up quickly 8-0, as Yeh’s first trifecta and a putback by Noah Futch helped build the early lead. Yeh had 10 points and a pair of 3-pointers in the first period, while Futch had 12 points in the opening quarter.

Yeh went for 17 in the second quarter, draining 3 more shots from beyond the arc. It was 25-10 after one and 50-23 at the half in favor of the Warriors. Cal Faulkner did his best to keep the Indians in contention, as he scored 11 in the first half and 10 in the second half to pace Lumpkin.

In the third, Yeh added 12 points to his total as White County was up 66-35 going into the final stanza, which was shortened to 6 minutes. White County went on to win 76-45.

Yeh had 41 total points and 7 3-pointers, while Futch ended with 12 points (all in the first quarter). Braxton Anderson had 7 points, as did Zach McCoy. Tripp Nix had 3 points, and Chad West, John Phillips, and Eli Shoemake all had 2 points apiece. The Warriors combined for 10 3-pointers.

The Indians were guided by Faulkner’s 21 points, as he notched a pair of trays. Hunter Cooper collected 10 points, Preston Cox had 7, Stephen Sherrill 4, and both Cooper Scott and TJ Gaddis had 2 points apiece.
