The BLITZ Fan Vote for Boys Basketball Player of the Week saw 7,210 votes come in, with Houston Henry (Union County) taking the most at 3,682. BLITZ then named Anfernee Hanna (Tallulah Falls) as Co-POW.

Anfernee Hanna has been leading Tallulah Falls all season. The senior small forward has been the go-to in nearly every statistical category for the #5-ranked Indians. Last week in 3 games played, Hanna went off for 18 points, 7.3 boards, 3 assists, 2 blocks, and nearly a steal per game. He is averaging over 20 points per game and 10 rebounds through the first 9 games of the season. This is Hanna’s third career POW award.
