DENIKA LIGHTBOURNE – TALLULAH FALLS

Talk about having a historic game! Denika Lightbourne put up 24 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals in the #9-ranked Lady Indians’ win over Denmark in the first game of their Thanksgiving Tournament at Jefferson. The senior guard and Dayton signee needed just 9 points for 1,000 on her stellar career. She got that, and more. She also needed 3 assists, one steal, and one block to set the all-time school records in those categories. She accomplished all of those in the same game. This is Lightbourne’s 7th POW award of her career.
