Sherrill takes second straight Runner of the Week award
With a lack of nominees due to nearly all local programs not competing last week, there was no BLITZ Fan Vote for XC Runner of the Week. However, BLITZ picked Ben Sherrill (Lumpkin County) as the Runner of the Week.

Dejavu. Ben Sherrill was just the Runner of the Week last week after a 16:51 time at the TFS Heroes Invitational. But now, that PR he set has been shattered. The junior put up a 16:19 time (besting his last PR by 32 seconds!) was good for a first-place overall finish at the Alexander/Asics Invitational. This is Sherrill’s second POW award.
