Blackburn, Daniels earn Player of the Week honors
The BLITZ Fan Vote for Football Player of the Week saw 13,346 votes come in, with Caleb Blackburn (Habersham) taking the most at 7,695. BLITZ then named Jaiden Daniels (Commerce) as Co-POW.
CALEB BLACKBURN – HABERSHAM CENTRAL
Senior Caleb Blackburn left nothing back in Habersham Central’s game in Week Seven. The defensive standout registered 10 total tackles, and hauled in an interception for the Raiders. This is Blackburn’s first POW award.

JAIDEN DANIELS – COMMERCE
Jaiden Daniels had his best game so far in his sophomore year. The standout RB went off for 237 rushing yards, adding a reception for another yard. He found the end zone 3 times, and averaged 7.9 carries while toting the rock 30 times in the Tigers’ third straight win. This is Daniels’ third career POW award.
