Odum, Ayers tabbed softball POWs
The BLITZ Fan Vote for Softball Player of the Week saw 10,748 votes come in, with Hannah Odum (Habersham Central) taking the most at 6,740. BLITZ then named Jacy Ayers (Banks) as Co-POW.

The Lady Raiders needed a boost last week, and they got it from junior Hannah Odum. The pitcher was 1-0 with a complete game, and registered a .333 average and .429 OBP last week for Habersham. This is Odum’s first POW award.

Jacy Ayers is having a stellar senior season. The Banks County standout pitcher/outfielder led the Lady Leopards last week at the plate, notching a ridiculous 9 RBI after going 8-for-12 (.615 average), and had 2 doubles as well. This is Ayers’ fifth career POW award.
