Richardson, Felkai grab POW awards
The BLITZ Volleyball Player of the Week Fan Vote saw 18,372 votes cast for local players. The Fan Vote winner was Mary Richardson with 7,008 votes, while BLITZ then named Abby Felkai (Dawson) as co-POW.

Lumpkin County has another standout volleyball player emerging. Mary Richardson, a junior middle hitter, showed out last week for the Lady Indians. She came up with 21 kills, 8 digs, 5 aces, and added 2.5 blocks in the team’s first four matches. This is her first POW award.

ABBY FELKAI – DAWSON COUNTY
Abby Felkai put on a clinic for the Lady Tigers last week. The Dawson County senior setter/rightside and outside hitter tallied 52 kills, adding 19 digs, 6 aces, and 6 blocks to earn her second career POW award.
