A program that is almost a guarantee for the playoffs fell just short last season, missing out for the second year in a row despite making it each time from 2015-2019. April Jones took over the Lady Cats’ team last year, and has her eye on one specific goal.

Key Departures: Gracie Deetz, Scout Cannon, Lyndee Hollifield

Deetz, Cannon, and Hollifield were solid players for the Lady Cats. They will be missed tremendously this time around.

Key Returning Players: Abbye Carver, Allana Jones, Ashley Slappey, Madilyn Kowalski, Anna Raye Darnell

A great many starters return, including a core around the five listed above. Several young players will get a chance to shine and make a name for themselves throughout the year.

Strength & Area of Focus

Strength: “Returning players who have worked hard in the off season as well as some new additions to the team that will add balance and give the team more depth,” says Jones.

Focus: Team chemistry, according to Jones. That typically goes a long way for any winning team.
