The third-year program at Commerce begins a new chapter after Robin Richards gives way to Macie Fouche, who will look to guide the Lady Tigers to new heights.

To date, the girls have won five games in two seasons, and are seeking many firsts including a first winning season and potentially a playoff run.

Key Departures: Faith Brown, Mia Carton, Lexi Coker, Emma Maynard, Sarah Wilkie

The senior group from last season helped get this program off the ground. These five will be sorely missed for their leadership even more than their skills.

Key Returning Players: Rain Kennerly, Dalty Friedman, Zoey Owensby, Ava Adams

Even with five seniors off the board, there are still plenty of players in the program who have been there since day one. That’s one more year of experience, and you have to think this is the season the Lady Tigers take that next step.

Strength & Area of Focus

Strength: Another year of experience. Though young and inexperienced, this team has another year under its belt. That’s got to be the strength heading in.

Focus: Finding ways to win. The Lady Tigers have struggled to find victories over the past two seasons. They had a pair of one-set losses last season, and were shut out in 24 matches. Just winning sets would be a great start, as they were 9-54 in sets last year.
