MALACHI DOOLEY

Malachi Dooley was sensational throughout his career at Habersham Central. A 1,000-point guard, Dooley guided the Raiders to their first state playoff appearance in a LONG time in his senior year. He unselfishly gave up the stats as a senior, as the team brought in several other playmakers. Dooley went for 15.0 points, 4.5 boards, 3.1 assists, and 0.9 steals per game as a senior, and as a junior averaged 20.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.4 steals. His sophomore line: 15.4 PTS, 5.3 REB, 3.4 AST, and 2.2 STL. He was a three-time All-Region selection, 1st Team. Dooley shot just under 50% from the field for his career. (6,951 votes)

CONNOR MCKAY

Connor McKay progressed every year at Rabun County, and got the Wildcats to an Elite 8 and Sweet 16 in his final two years, complete with a region title. He was the Region Player of the Year and a three-time All-Region selection, as well as a two-time All-State pick. The 1,000-point guard/forward combo was electrifying, throwing down dunks and splashing threes, complete with a mid-range game and ability to attack the rim. After going for 15 points, 9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks per game as a sophomore, he upped that line each of the next two years. He averaged 18 PTS, 12 REB, 4 AST, 2 STL, and 2 BLK as a junior, and went for 26 PTS, 10.3 REB, 5.5 AST, 2 STL, and 2 BLK as a senior. He also went from a 50% shooter as a sophomore, up to 57% as a junior, and a ridiculous 65% as a senior. (4,350 votes)

COLLIN CROWDER

Collin Crowder was the ultimate team player at Towns County. Him taking a backseat as a top-scorer his junior season was key to the Indians winning a state championship. He still averaged 8.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.1 steals per game that year, but showed as senior just how good he could be. His final year saw him go for 24.6 PTS, 6.5 REB, 2.0 AST, and 2.1 STL. Even as a sophomore he was special: 13.3 PTS, 7.2 REB, 2.4 AST, 1.1 STL. He shot 59% as a senior, 58% as a junior, and 48% as a sophomore, and was a 3-time All-Region honoree as well as a 1,000-point scorer. (977 votes)
