The BLITZ Girls Tennis Player of the Year is Carson Hobbs of Commerce. The senior was flawless throughout the 2022 season, resulting in her second POY award (the other in softball) during the 2021-22 school year.

Carson Hobbs was absolutely dominant in 2022. The senior was a perfect 19-0 at #3 singles for the Lady Tigers, who marched all the way to the Final Four!

1st place votes: 5 pts; 2nd: 3 pts; 3rd: 2 pts; 4th: 1 pts; 5th-6th: 0.5 pts; 7th-8th 0.25 pts

It wasn’t ever in question. Hobbs took 14 of the 1st-place votes, and teammate Kamden Cotton took a couple. Cady Geddings had one 1st-place vote and came in second.
