Stephens County’s Knight earns ‘Last Finalist’ vote, up for POY consideration

After narrowing down a list of 52 girls soccer players to just seven finalists, we opened it up for a public vote to add the LAST FINALIST. A whopping 76,748 votes were logged in total, and 24,026 of those were in favor of Stephens County’s Julia Knight.

Knight, had 16 goals and four assists, collecting a trio of hat tricks on the season. Knight joins Sarah Clark (Habersham), Abbey Eison (Jefferson), Nicole Limehouse (Lumpkin), Rylie Livingston (Towns), Hazen Ramey (White), Ivy Tolbert (Commerce), and Lara Turner (Union) as finalists to be up for POY honors. BLITZ will vote internally Heisman-style for the winner.
