With the conclusion of the 2022 baseball season, we release our nominees for BLITZ Player of the Year. We reached out to all head coaches for a maximum of 6 players from each team to be nominated for this honor. Next, we will narrow the list down to a finalist pool (and allow the public to vote for one nominee to join our finalists). After that, our internal voting panel will vote Heisman-style to determine the winner.

  1. Should pick 4 year starters that can play all positions and is a team player and not a popularity contest. It’s been Thai way all year. Especially Rabun county.

    1. Not sure what to tell you Steve, all nominations come from head coaches. I don’t know that the list would be very long at all if you only had four year starters who played every position. That’s pretty rare
