Region 7-AAA Recap: White County boys claim title

The 7-AAA Region Championships, held at Cherokee Bluff on April 21-22, saw White County, Dawson County, and Lumpkin County shoot for region supremacy. Dawson’s girls were 5th and boys 7th, while Lumpkin’s girls were 4th and boys 8th.

Highlighting the success was White County, with the boys taking the region crown. The White County girls were runner-up. Here are the team’s lists of top-3 individuals. Dawson County had a pair of region champion relays, Lumpkin had Mercades Housman grab a pair of titles, and White County had Cam Wilson do the same. White County also had four other individuals claim the top spot.
