The BLITZ Track & Field Athlete of the Week award goes to Brad Chosewood of Habersham Central.

BRAD CHOSEWOOD – BLITZ PICK

Habersham’s big-time thrower Brad Chosewood earns Athlete of the Week honors after an incredible week that saw him nab 3 1st-place finishes and a second place spot in his events. That included a discus throw of 148-8, which was second-best in the entire state in Class 6A. And his 50-4 shot put has the potential to put him in elite company by the end of the year. This is the sophomore’s first POW award.
