The BLITZ Boys Soccer Player of the Week Fan Vote collected 18,971 total votes, with Jefferson’s Mason Fifer taking 10,277 to win the POW Fan Vote. BLITZ then named Commerce’s Jhonny Valle as Co-POW.

MASON FIFER – FAN VOTE

Mason Fifer has come up huge for Jefferson, a top-5 ranked program in Class 4A. The junior midfielder played all 160 minutes of 2 matches, notching a goal and an assist to lead the Dragons. This is Fifer’s first POW award.

JHONNY VALLE – BLITZ PICK

Junior forward Jhonny Valle has been tremendous this season for the state-ranked Tigers of Commerce. The goal-scorer found the back of the net 8 times, including a pair of hat tricks, last week to lead Commerce. This is his first POW award.
