The BLITZ Girls Basketball Player of the Week Fan Vote collected 7,331 total votes, with White County’s Brelan Sieveking taking 4,304 to win the POW Fan Vote. BLITZ then named Kirklyn Porter (Dawson County) Co-POW.

BRELAN SIEVEKING – FAN VOTE

White County had yet another player emerge last week. Brelan Sieveking, a sophomore guard, averaged 7 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 steals in 3 games played for the Lady Warriors last week. She also averaged 3 steals while shooting 87.5% from the line and 42% from 3-point range. This is Sieveking’s first POW award.

KIRKLYN PORTER – BLITZ PICK

Junior Kirklyn Porter was instrumental in guiding the Lady Tigers of Dawson County to a tournament title in Charleston, SC last week. The guard in 3 games played averaged 17 points, 5 boards, and 3 assists per game. Her outstanding performance included making 13 3-pointers! This is Porter’s first career POW award.
