Senior Kenny Simpson had a standout performance last week for White County. The forward stretched the floor with 13 points, 9 of which came on long-distance shots. He added 6 boards, 2 assists, a steal, and took a charge in a win over Habersham Central. This is Simpson’s first POW award.

DALEN GALES – BLITZ PICK

Jefferson’s Dalen Gales had a near triple-double last week. The senior guard went off for 24 points and 10 rebounds to secure the double-double for the Dragons, and finished with 7 assists, just 3 shy of the triple-double. This is Gales’ second career POW award.
