The BLITZ Boys Basketball Player of the Week Fan Vote collected 14,846 total votes, with Habersham Central’s Malachi Dooley taking 7,038 to win the POW Fan Vote. BLITZ then named Commerce’s Cayden Lord Co-POW.

MALACHI DOOLEY – FAN VOTE

Malachi Dooley had a big week, scoring 19 points in last week’s lone game for the Habersham Central Raiders. The senior, as part of that, eclipsed 1,000 career points, a goal so many seek but few ever realize. This is Dooley’s third career POW award.

CAYDEN LORD – BLITZ PICK

Junior Cayden Lord was fantastic for the Tigers last week. In 3 games, the Commerce guard averaged 15.6 points per contest and connected on 57% of his shots from deep. Altogether, he drained 12 3-pointers! This is Lord’s first POW award.
