Witherspoon, Hood Claim Runner of the Week Awards
The BLITZ Cross Country Runner of the Week Fan Vote saw 5,545 total votes, with Grace Witherspoon taking 2,266 to win the POW. BLITZ then named Rabun County’s Lucy Hood as co-POW.

Lucy Hood dominated last week for Rabun County. The sophomore harrier placed first overall in the Lady Cats’ meet, coming in at 23:19. This is Hood’s second career POW award (one last year in basketball).
