Girls Soccer Power Rankings – End of Regular Season


The 2021 Regular Season is a wrap, so that ushers in our Final End of Regular Season Power Rankings for Girls Soccer!

#1 COMMERCE
PREVIOUS: #1
RECORD: 18-0 (12-0 in 8-A Public)
The #1-ranked Lady Tigers will want nothing less than a State Championship…not trying to jinx it, but it seems like the most sure state champion team we’ve seen…EVER!
#2 LUMPKIN COUNTY
PREVIOUS: #4
RECORD: 11-4-1 (5-1 in 7-AAA)
The Lady Indians, ranked #3 during the season, were log-jammed with White County and another atop region 7-AAA. The 3-way tie saw Lumpkin win the tie-breaker to win the region title and #1 seed. Should be a very deep playoff run once again!
#3 WHITE COUNTY
PREVIOUS: #3
RECORD: 13-4 (5-1 in 7-AAA)
The Lady Warriors were ranked #2 in the state, and actually beat Lumpkin head to head. Somehow….this team falls to a 3-seed for the state tournament. This will be the toughest 3-seed out there, no doubt!

#4 JEFFERSON
PREVIOUS: #2
RECORD: 11-3 (4-2 in 8-AAAA)
The #3-ranked Lady Dragons finished with 11 wins heading into the state tournament, and like White County (above) somehow ended as a 3-seed within their region. This team will make some noise!
#5 STEPHENS COUNTY
PREVIOUS: #5
RECORD: 10-2 (4-1 in 8-AAA)
The Lady Indians have had such a great season, resulting in a Region Runner-Up finish and 2-seed for the playoffs. Stephens County has a chance to do something special.

T6 RABUN COUNTY
PREVIOUS: #6
RECORD: 8-3-1 (6-0 in 8-AA)
Lauren Barnes scored her 100th career goal in what has been a special year for Rabun, who came away with the 8-AA Region Championship. The Lady Cats should make a run here.
T6 TALLULAH FALLS
PREVIOUS: #9
RECORD: 8-3-1 (8-2 in 8-A Private)
The Lady Indians take a big leap with a Region Runner-Up finish and tie in our final Power Rankings for 6th, as they tied with Rabun during the season. Tallulah Falls ended with a big win streak that sees them play their first-ever home playoff game.
#8 HABERSHAM CENTRAL
PREVIOUS: #7
RECORD: 8-8-1 (7-5 in 8-AAAAAA)
The Lady Raiders earned a playoff spot, 4th in the region with a very respectable season once again in Habersham.
#9 UNION COUNTY
PREVIOUS: #8
RECORD: 5-3-1 (4-2 in 8-AA)
The Lady Panthers earned a Region Runner-Up finish to Rabun (above), and should be a tough team to beat in the state playoffs.
#10 TOWNS COUNTY
PREVIOUS: #10
RECORD: 5-6 (5-6 in 8-A Public)
The Lady Indians were once ranked #7 in the state, and punched a playoff ticket as the 4th seed from 8A Public.
#11 BANKS COUNTY
PREVIOUS: #11
RECORD: 4-8 (1-5 in 8-AA)
The Lady Leopards got into the tournament as the 3rd seed from 8-AA after notching a win to secure their place.
#12 DAWSON COUNTY
PREVIOUS: #12
RECORD: 1-15-1 (1-4 in 7-AAA)
The Lady Tigers saw their season end with the closing of the regular season.
