If Wednesday evening was any indicator, the Commerce Lady Tigers might stroll to a state championship in Class 1A Public in 2021. The Lady Tigers throttled Ace Charter 10-0 on Wednesday, making a huge statement.

Ace Charter are the defending state champions from the 2019 season, since 2020 was halted due to COVID. In that 2020 season, Commerce had racked up some 9 wins prior to the stoppage and looked to be on their way to a deep playoff run at least.

With several All-State players for the Lady Tigers, Commerce is in a great position to win it all this year and perhaps over the next couple of seasons at least.

Sophomore Chloe Diaz scored 5 goals in the win and tallied an assist, while freshman Ivy Tolbert had 3 goals and 5 assists (new school record). Sophomore Kate Hill and senior Hannah English also scored a goal each.
