The Callaway Cavaliers scored 27 unanswered points and took down Rabun County (12-2) 41-17 in the 2A Semifinals. The Wildcats had cut an early 14-0 deficit to 14-10 late in the first half before Callaway (12-1) ran away using a number of big-yardage plays.

Callaway scored on its next possession to take a 14-0 lead on a Charlie Dixon 5-yd TD. A Cesar Armenta 37-yd FG got Rabun on the board, and Stockton hooked up with Adriel Clark on a 21-yd TD to cut it to a 4-point game, while also making Clark the single-season record holder for TD catches with 28.

Callaway responded almost instantly with a 63-yd TD run by Demetrius Coleman, taking a 20-10 lead into the break. The third saw the Cavaliers break way with three more TDs, including a 48-yd TD pass from Coleman, a 10-yd TD run by Dixon, and another TD by Dixon this time from 77 yards out.

That made it 41-10 and started a running clock in the fourth. True to form, the Wildcats fought til the final horn, as Stockton scored from 8 yards out in the final seconds to close it at 41-17.

The Wildcats advanced to their second-ever Semifinals, and end the season at 12-2 overall. Callaway  advances to play Fitzgerald in the title game.
