Habersham EMC Linemen of the Week: Chris Thompson / Dylan Ryoul

Brand New for 2020 – the Habersham EMC Linemen of the Week. Long have people asked for the guys who do the dirty work to get more recognition. Now, they do. Each week in the 2020 season, we will recognize an offensive lineman (or the full line as it is often a joint effort), and a defensive lineman, sponsored by Habersham EMC.
This week’s winners are Dylan Ryoul (Jefferson) for the O-Line, and Chris Thompson (Rabun County) for the D-Line.

DYLAN RYOUL – JEFFERSON

Jefferson’s O-Line continues to play impeccable ball this 2020 season. Dylan Ryoul is the latest to stand out, as he graded out at 90-plus % from the center position. The junior paved the way to 312 yards of offense for the Dragons’ offense in a 40-10 win over #5-ranked Flowery Branch.
Ryoul also allowed zero sacks in earning his first-ever Player of the Week Award.

OTHERS WHO STOOD OUT: Rabun County’s O-Line (70 pts, 639 yds offense, 1 sack allowed)
