Walls, Pruitt take Player of the Week Honors


Volleyball Player of the Week honors go to Banks’ Lola Pruitt (Fan Vote) and Dawson’s Olivia Walls (BLITZ Pick). Pruitt led the fan voting with 20,270 of the 48,701 total votes.

Banks County’s freshman phenom Lola Pruitt has been doing very well this season. Notably last week, when the outside hitter recorded 25 digs, 14 kills, and 3 aces in matches played. Despite being a first-year program, the Lady Leopards have recently earned a #9 state ranking in Class 2A, and have already notched 6 wins on the season.

OLIVIA WALLS – BLITZ PICK


Dawson County’s senior setter Olivia Walls had a great week in matches played a week ago. She averaged 10 assists per game, and had a 91% serve rating. She also reached a significant milestone with her 1,000th career assist for the Lady Tigers.
