Cronic Earns Back-To-Back POW Award, Jordan earns honors Also
The Player of the Week fan voting totaled 29,082 votes for Softball Player of the Week. It was Banks County’s Madi Cronic who again took the top voting spot with 13,049 votes. Voting runner-up Birdie Jordan (Rabun; 8,100 votes) was the BLITZ Pick for Player of the Week.

The West Georgia commit continues to show why she’s Player of the Year worthy. The senior shortstop earned the Player of the Week honors for the second week in a row, and fifth time in her career.
Banks County has had great leadership from its star senior, who in games last week, hit .750 at the plate with another homerun and RBI. She added a double and slugged 1.750, and played perfect defense.

BIRDIE JORDAN – BLITZ PICK
Rabun junior Birdie Jordan had a solid week of play last week, earning her Player of the Week honors. The third baseman hit .714 during play last week, driving in four runs and scoring three times. She also swiped a base.
This is Jordan’s first-ever Player of the Week award.
