It’s really hard to preview a team that none of us outside of Banks County really has any insight on. What is known is that the program has built a foundation with the interest in volleyball coming from the middle school level. So these girls aren’t new to the sport, just new to the varsity scene.
Strengths & Areas of Focus
Strengths: Morale, excitement, chasing history. That trio means that even if there will be some tough times ahead, brand new programs have some intangibles based on the fact that there is so much hype around the program.
Focusing On: Weathering the growing pains. There are sure to be some growing pains. Nothing is more certain. This season won’t be one in which W-L matter a whole lot…unless there are lots of Ws. It’s about competing, learning, growing from mistakes, and getting better each match.
