CARL CLEVELAND

From day one, this kid was a game-changer and proved to be a generational talent. The guy was about unguardable since he could literally score from anywhere, and often scored off double- and even triple-team efforts. He put up insane numbers – 2,445 points, 1,049 rebounds, 390 assists, 82 blocks, and 116 steals, collecting 57 double-doubles and 5 triple-doubles. He was a two-time BLITZ Player of the Year, an All-State selection twice, and two-time Region 8-AA Player of the Year. He led the Leopards to nearly 100 wins in his four-year stint, including an Elite 8 and two Sweet 16s, adding three region titles. He averaged 28 points and 11 rebounds as a junior, and 25 and 12 as a senior. Cleveland continues his career at Young Harris. (2,197 VOTES)

JASPER GIBSON

Jasper Gibson has the unique two-sided career. He spent a couple of seasons earning his stripes and making a name for himself at Jefferson, then spent two seasons showing out to another level at Dawson County. The guard finished his career with over 2,000 career points, 500 assists, 250 rebounds, and 100 steals. Gibson, an Emmanuel College-bound star, averaged 18 points per game as senior and 19 points per game as a junior. He was a two-time All-State player, three-time All-Region honoree, and one-time Region 7-AAA Player of the Year. (2,100 VOTES)

CAMPBELL REED

A two-time All-Region selection, and co-Player of the Year for 7-AAA once, the All-State guard Campbell Reed found a way to become one of many 1,000-point scorers for Dawson County in a time when the Tigers had many alpha players in the lineup. He shot over 43% from long range, and averaged 9 points per game as a junior and 15 per game as a senior. (1,148 VOTES)

PATRICK BURNS

Patrick Burns was a beast for the Raiders, earning a scholarship to Oxford after a senior year that saw him average over 16 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals per game. He polished off his career somewhere in the neighborhood of 800 points, 500 rebounds, 100 assists, and 50 steals, and earned BLITZ Player of the Year honors his final season. (436 VOTES)

MATTHEW WEIDNER

Matthew Weidner had a fantastic career at Tallulah Falls, putting up 1,390 points (school record) and 500 rebounds. He owns three of the top scoring seasons in TFS history, and three of the top rebounding seasons as well. He is one of only three players in Indians’ lore to score 30 or more points in a game.
