The final week of the regular season came and went, and with it, our final Regular Season Power Rankings!

#1 RABUN COUNTY WILDCATS
LAST RANKING: #1
RECORD: 10-0 (7-0)
WEEK 12: W 49-7 @ #6 Union County
NEXT: RND 1 vs BEST Academy
Big-time statement win for Rabun County, who earned its SIXTH straight region championship with the win over Union, and are flying high into the playoffs. Should be another deep playoff run!

#2 JEFFERSON DRAGONS
LAST RANKING: #2
RECORD: 8-1 (6-0)
WEEK 12: Bye
NEXT: RND 1 vs Sonoraville
The Dragons got the rare Week 12 bye, with a chance to heal up and prep for the first round home game against Sonoraville.
#3 COMMERCE TIGERS
LAST RANKING: #5
RECORD: 8-2 (5-1)
WEEK 12: W 22-21 vs George Walton
NEXT: vs TBA
What a win for Commerce. The way they did it bumps them up a couple of spots in our rankings, as the Tigers earned no doubt a home game (awaiting GHSA Class 1A power ratings). Down 21-0 at the break, Commerce rallied for a last second win, complete with a 2-point conversion to do it.
#4 DAWSON COUNTY TIGERS
LAST RANKING: #3
RECORD: 7-3 (4-2)
WEEK 12: L 37-40 @ North Hall
NEXT: RND 1 @ Westminster
The Tigers fell on the wrong end of a thriller at the Brickyard. It was a classic battle, and unfortunately Dawson now is forced on the road for the playoffs.
#5 UNION COUNTY PANTHERS
LAST RANKING: #4
RECORD: 9-1 (6-1)
WEEK 12: L 7-49 vs #1 Rabun County
NEXT: RND 1 vs South Atlanta
Union fell hard and fast to Rabun County, as the Wildcats scored on the opening drive and never looked back. The Panthers will almost certainly rebound, and look to win their first-ever playoff game when hosting South Atlanta. This group is too talented to not get the job done.

#6 WHITE COUNTY WARRIORS
LAST RANKING: #6
RECORD: 5-5 (2-4)
WEEK 12: L 6-35 vs #2 Blessed Trinity
White County closed its season with a loss to BT. Any other region at all, and the Warriors would be in the playoffs. One of the best teams around that didn’t make the playoffs.
#7 HABERSHAM CENTRAL RAIDERS
LAST RANKING: #7
RECORD: 3-7 (0-5)
WEEK 12: L 49-56 @ Apalachee
The Raiders had so much promise after a win over Franklin on September 27. That put them at 3-2. No one would have guessed the season would end with a 5-game losing skid over the final month and a half.

#8 BANKS COUNTY LEOPARDS
LAST RANKING: #8
RECORD: 3-7 (2-5)
WEEK 12: L 13-48 @ Elbert County
The Leopards’ season came to an end hard at Elbert County. Like Habersham above, this was a team that had a lot of promise (started 2-0 in region play) before dropping its final 5 games. Just like Hab Central, Banks County last won on September 27.

#9 STEPHENS COUNTY INDIANS
LAST RANKING: #9
RECORD: 1-9 (0-4)
WEEK 12: L 21-42 vs St. Pius X
Stephens County actually had a chance in the finale despite a 1-8 record to sneak into the playoffs. That’s the blessing of being in a 5-team region. However, St. Pius dashed those hopes, and Stephens County had a 1-9 season (9 straight losses) for the first time since 1967.

#10 LUMPKIN COUNTY INDIANS
LAST RANKING: #10
RECORD: 1-9 (0-6)
WEEK 12: L 30-41 @ East Hall
Lumpkin also finished 1-9 after a 6-game losing streak to wrap up the season.
#11 TOWNS COUNTY INDIANS
LAST RANKING: #11
RECORD: 0-10 (0-7)
WEEK 12: L 8-56 vs Athens Christian
Towns County had its first winless season since 2007 with a blowout loss to Athens Christian.
